What is a field test? Field tests help inform the development of future PATs for Grade 6 in ELAL, FILAL, and Mathematics that align with the new curriculum in these subjects.
Parking Reminders
· Please do not park in front of the school in the bus zone between 7 a.m. – and 5:00 p.m.
· Please do not drop off or pick up your child from the staff parking lot.
Weather Reminders
This time of year means the regular transition between warm and cold weather. Please help your student to come to school prepared for the weather over the next several weeks.
· Please ensure your child is prepared with outdoor clothing and footwear for all weather conditions.
· All students enjoy 20 minutes of fresh air at lunch (weather permitting) and some physical education classes outside and this time is much more enjoyable if they are dressed for the weather.
· Students should not arrive at school before 8:40 am
· Students must be picked up from school by 3:40 pm (There is no supervision outside these times.)

Track and Field
We extend our congratulations to all our students who showcased their talents at our annual Bob Edwards Track Day!
For those students who have earned a spot on our track team, we will be proudly representing Bob Edwards at Foothills Athletic Park on Monday, June 10th. If your child is taking the bus, ensure they arrive at Bob Edwards by 7:30 am, as the bus will depart promptly at 7:45 am. The day's events will kick off at 8:30 am and conclude around 2:30 pm. Students returning by bus will be back in time for the last bell.
We invite parents to come and support their children as they compete. Please remind your child to dress appropriately for the weather; currently, sunny skies are forecasted, so it's advisable to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, suitable running shoes, and a packed lunch. Additionally, there will be a food truck onsite if your child prefers to purchase lunch.

Physical Education
Over the next three weeks, Bob Edwards is thrilled to host two captivating residencies.
Firstly, from June 10th to June 14th, we have the pleasure of welcoming a dance instructor from Art in Motion to provide professional instruction to our students.
Following that, from June 14th to June 26th, our compound will buzz with excitement as guest instructors from Alien Inline join us to teach our students the art of rollerblading.
We're incredibly excited for these enriching opportunities and look forward to seeing our students thrive!
