Healthy Hunger Fun Lunches are back!
December 19 - Subway
January 9 - Little Caesars
One of the most important ways parents/guardians and community members can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on the school council. Under the Education Act, a school council is a collective association designed to advise the principal and the CBE Board of Trustees on matters related to the school. School councils have legislated advisory and decision-making authority defined within the Education Act and the School Councils Regulation. They are different from Parent Societies & Associations, whose main function is to raise funds for the school. You can find more details in the CBE School Council Handbook.
Upcoming Meeting Dates
School Council and Parent Society
The Bob Edwards School, School Council, and Parent Society meet monthly (approximately) to build and strengthen our partnership, discuss student learning, and consult on decisions that impact our community. We meet in the Learning Commons at Bob Edwards School on the last Tuesday of most months at 6:00 p.m. Parents and guardians in our school community are welcome to join. The third School Council meeting of the 2025-26 school year will be on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The Bob Edwards School Council can be reached at bobeparentsfundraisingsociety@gmail.com
Please join this outstanding group with which we enjoy a strong partnership. You don’t need to sign up for any ‘big jobs’, and any member of our community is welcome to attend.
