Oki, Danit'ada, Âba wathtec, Tânisi, Taanishi, Bonjour, Hello, Bob Edwards Community,

Contact your child’s teachers here: Our Staff. Your child’s homeroom teacher is the best first point of contact for any questions or concerns. Speaking directly to those most closely involved is more effective, efficient and timely. Communication with parents, students, and community members is always welcome. Email is the preferred method of communication.

Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs): Grade 6 & 9

In May and June of this year, Grade 6 and 9 students across the province will participate
in the Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs) using the Digital Assessment
Platform (Vretta). Students in Grades 6 and 9 will complete PATs in English
Language Arts, French Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

Grade 9

·       Grade 9 Social Studies: Monday, June 22

·       Grade 9 Science: Tuesday, June 23

Students who are absent on PAT days will complete the assessment when they return to school.

Results from these tests will provide Alberta Education, school administrators,
teachers, parents/guardians, students and the public with information about
what students know and can do in relation to provincial standards at the end of
Grade 6 and 9. Provincial Achievement Tests are based on what students have
been learning throughout the school year.
